Please join the Wine Awakenings "Noser's
Club". Registration is free and your name or email address
will not be provided to any other database.
From time to time, Wine Awakenings will initiate a contest and will
accept submissions via email from club members who wish to participate.
The submission must contain the name of a wine from within the nominated
varietal group, along with the three predominant aromas the club
member thinks are present in the wine.
Wine Awakenings will randomly choose three completed entries. The
three wines designated in the entries will be evaluated using Wine
Awakenings' aromas as benchmarks. The club member whose suggested
wine is best representative of the aromas given will be declared
"winner" for that contest. A complimentary Wine Awakenings
varietal kit will be sent to the winning club member, and their
name and wine selection (should they accept) will be posted on our
website.
Note: The price of the wine submitted as an entry must be
under USD 30.00. The wine must be widely available for retail purchase.
The spirit of this contest is to provide our club members an opportunity
to have some fun with learning to identify aromas in a wide range
of wines. No reflection on the quality of submissions is intended.
All decisions by our panel are final.
